Thursday delves into the extensive United Cowboys archive. The evening offers a rare opportunity to experience the iconic Glass Performance once again, alongside the intimate performances, video, installations and sound art that have defined United Cowboys for decades.
On Friday and Saturday, the focus shifts to a new generation of artists. Starting from a blank canvas where anything can happen, performance, dance, sound and video take turns occupying the space. The programme features artists from the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Denmark and Belgium, among others.
Through United Cowboys’ personal and intimate approach, the art comes remarkably close. The boundary between performer and visitor begins to dissolve, creating a new collective experience each evening.
The photo portrait series by Maarten van der Put and David Galjaard will also continue. The series portrays artists and local residents in their own homes.
