ARCHITECTUURCENTRUM EINDHOVEN

Stichting Architectuurcentrum Regio Eindhoven was established on December 8, 1995. The objective is described as follows: 'The foundation aims to promote the conditions under which a high-quality built and unbuilt environment can be created, as well as all that is related to the above in the broadest sense or may be beneficial to it.'.

In short, Architectuurcentrum Eindhoven stimulates and inspires the debate about architecture, urban development and landscape in Eindhoven and its surroundings. We do this by organizing lectures, city debates, exhibitions, symposia, workshops and the launch of study assignments. Architectuurcentrum Eindhoven also organizes Day of Architecture and Day of Heritage. We also screen architectural films. For this we work together with various local organizations (including the municipality of Eindhoven, TU/e, BNA kring Zuidoost Brabant, Regionaal Historisch Centrum Eindhoven, Henri van Abbe Stichting, Stichting Wederopbouw, Eindhoven 365, Plaza Futura and others).

Our activities are also aimed at creating open network connections and exchanging information between all institutions active in Eindhoven in the field of architecture, spatial design and/or urban development. We aim to appeal to a wide audience with all of our activities. The activities are largely free of charge. The Municipality of Eindhoven, Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, BNA kring Zuidoost Brabant and donations from sponsors (ACE society) make the activities of Architectuurcentrum possible.
