Tuner
Together with his mentor and father figure Harry (Dustin Hoffman), Niki works as a piano tuner, where he meets Ruthie (Havana Rose Liu), a music student with whom he forms a special bond. When criminals discover that Niki’s exceptional hearing can also be used to crack safes, his life takes a dangerous turn.
Tuner marks the narrative feature debut of documentary filmmaker Daniel Roher (known for Navalny), and stars Leo Woodall (Nuremberg, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy), Dustin Hoffman (The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy), and Havana Rose Liu (Bottoms) in the leading roles. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
