TALKSHOW | SHORTWAVE

A night about Eindhoven
Wed 3 Sep - Wed 3 Dec

Korte Golf is Natlab’s new monthly talk show where we take time to reflect on Eindhoven. We talk to people who are shaping the city – those who ask questions, share new ideas or simply know how to listen. No rigid format, but an open and curious evening full of unexpected encounters.

Each edition is hosted by Oscar Kocken, joined by a different co-host from the city, who brings along a guest they believe needs to be heard. We listen to stories, explore new perspectives – and let the city speak through music by unique performers.

And there’s always a moment for love: an ode to Eindhoven. A resident shares a place in the city that holds personal meaning. A hidden alley, a busy square, a quiet bench, a lasting memory.

On September 3rd, Laurens Dassen joins us as our guest. He’s the parliamentary leader of Volt in the Dutch House of Representatives. We’ll talk to him about the role of the city in politics, his personal motivations, and his connection to Eindhoven.

Live music is by singer-songwriter Joanne Bird. With her delicate voice and personal lyrics, she has a way of silencing the room—and moving it.

This edition’s Ode to Eindhoven comes from freerunner Bart van der Linde. He shows us the city through his eyes—and his route: across rooftops, through alleyways, and along places normally hidden from view.

We also welcome Tits Bongers and Ben Damen, who share their passion for the Lichtjesroute, Eindhoven’s beloved light festival. They’ll explain why this tradition means so much, and how volunteer work keeps it alive year after year.

Grab a drink, take a seat, and join the conversation about the city we shape together.
