Yusuf's friend Khalid radicalizes and joins the growing resistance, while others try to survive between fear and hope. In the midst of an anti-colonial uprising and while Jewish refugees flee persecution in Europe, all parties come together at a decisive moment for the entire region. When clashing ideals inevitably lead to armed conflict between Palestinian freedom fighters and cruel British officers, Palestine 36 shows us the growing resistance of ordinary people in the struggle for autonomy and their survival.
