Manon's inner struggle and her fight for survival take center stage in Kenneth MacMillan's 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost's novel. In this iconic work by The Royal Ballet, MacMillan's nuanced insight into human psychology offers an unflinching look at the moral decay of Manon's Paris, where all its decadence and decay are brought to life by the music of Jules Massenet and the designs of Nicholas Georgiadis.
