After thirty long years, brothers Franz and Horst reunite at the care facility where Horst is residing against his will. The encounter brings many old sensitivities back to the surface, especially when an old acquaintance suddenly reappears. Old passions flare up, past wounds are reopened, and the rivalry between the brothers turns out to run deeper than expected.
