For a year, three women take turns working as caretakers of this mountain hut, cut off from the world. Only passing hikers and rare birds keep them company from time to time. In the quiet of nature, they confront themselves and learn more about the eventful history of the mountain. What at first feels like isolation gradually turns into a kind of freedom, and each woman discovers something about herself that doesn't exist elsewhere.
This debut from Brussels director Manon Coubia takes you to the mountains with stunning 16mm imagery and received a Special Mention from the Jury at the Berlinale.
