For two and a half years, The New Block was home to PIXL. What started in April 2022 as “just a party” grew into a close-knit community — a place where people came together, new friendships were born, and a shared love for electronic music was at the heart of it all.

In October 2024, this chapter came to an end: The New Block was demolished as planned, and with it, the PIXL Club had to close its doors. Filmmaker Florian Koch, together with Bente Ummels, captured the final week of the pop-up club on Strijp-S through the eyes of driving forces Tim van Mol and Pieter Lepelaars. A week that ended with an unforgettable night: the PIXL Closing.

The film offers an intimate look behind the scenes of PIXL, revealing what lies beyond the club nights — the passion, creativity, perseverance, and above all, the community. It has become a heartfelt tribute to a place and a moment in time that will remain unforgettable to many.
