Hank Thompson (Austin Butler) was a baseball phenomenon in his high school days, but playing is no longer possible. Otherwise, he's doing just fine: he has a great girlfriend (Zoë Kravitz), works behind the bar at a New York City bar, and the baseball team he supports is doing surprisingly well in the league. When the punk Russ (Matt Smith) who lives next door asks him to watch his cat for a few days, Hank suddenly finds himself facing a motley crew of grim gangsters. They all want something from him, but he has no idea why. Hank has to pull out all the stops to find out what they want without falling into the hands of the criminals.
