Michel and Hélène unexpectedly find themselves transported from the 1950s to the present day. They discover that the world—and especially the relationship between men and women—has changed considerably. While Hélène embraces her newfound freedom, Michel has a little more difficulty adjusting to their new reality.

In a small French town in the 1950s, Hélène and Michel lead a happy and carefree life with their two children. Their lives revolve around the traditional values of the time: Michel is the head of the household, while Hélène knows her place as a wife and mother. But everything changes when the family unexpectedly finds itself in the year 2025.

There, they discover a modern society completely unlike anything they are used to. Technology shapes everyday life, social conventions have changed, and the position of women has been fundamentally transformed.

For Hélène, this new world feels like a revelation. She realises that her life no longer has to revolve around the expectations of her husband and society.

For Michel, the confrontation with this new era comes as a profound shock. The certainties and privileges he has always relied on suddenly seem to have disappeared.

As old beliefs clash with new ideas, tensions, frustrations and hidden desires rise to the surface. Their journey through time forces Hélène and Michel to confront not only the modern world, but also themselves.

This comedy became a hit with audiences in its native France, attracting nearly 900,000 visitors.
