In The Grand Siege, grief becomes a battleground. After the death of his wife Berna, Macit longs for a quiet rebirth — a chance to rebuild a life stripped of sorrow. But the past refuses to loosen its grip. His son Alp and Berna’s devoted assistant Feyza remain fiercely attached to Berna’s memory, guarding her legacy with a devotion that borders on obsession.

As Macit attempts to move forward, he finds himself besieged by expectations, loyalties, and unresolved emotions. The home he once shared with Berna transforms into a psychological fortress where every object, every gesture, every silence becomes a reminder of what was lost — and what others refuse to let go of.

With its intimate performances and restrained emotional power, The Grand Siege explores the fragile terrain between mourning and renewal. It is a story about the weight of memory,
