More visitors in 2025

Sometimes something happens on an ordinary day that still feels special. On 21 November, the 108,764th visitor of this year walked through our doors. With that, we have already surpassed the total number of visitors from all of 2024, with more than a month still ahead of us.

Growth we see everywhere

This increase comes from different parts of our programme:

• Film: our cinemas are fuller, throughout the week and on weekends.
• Theatre: more and more people are coming to our theatre performances.
• Outdoor cinema: the twenty outdoor screenings this year attracted more than 8,500 visitors.
• Education: schools are finding their way to Natlab more often to watch, learn and start conversations together.
• Specials: in-depth film programmes, courses, special events and new formats like Korte Golf and Popcorner are drawing a growing and curious audience.

Together, all these streams of visitors form a film theatre that is alive. From morning to evening. From the square to the stage.

What this means to us

We see this growth as a sign that we are on the right track. That the choices we make fit what Natlab should be: a place where curiosity has space, where programmes offer context, and where people can meet each other.

It also encourages us to continue. To make more room for new makers. To reach different audiences. To develop programmes that keep surprising, challenging and connecting people. In this way, we are gradually anchoring Natlab in Eindhoven as one of the city’s cultural pillars.

Looking towards the end of the year

With December still ahead, we are curious to see where we will end up. What we already know for sure: all of this is possible thanks to everyone who finds their way to Natlab.

December at Natlab

The month of December is packed with a beautiful programme. From the new Cosy Cinema to specials like Koolhoven’s Keuze and Game Changers, and from regional titles Kleine Dommel and Het NRE-terrein to Sentimental Value, winner of the Grand Prix in Cannes.
