A weekend full of stories, creators and surprises
At the end of September, Natlab is all yours. Open for a weekend, from basement to rooftop, from former research spaces to the vibrant café and theater. Experience film, theater, music, workshops, and culinary surprises. A journey of discovery through the entire building. And many activities are free!
This year's theme is sound. It's a tribute to Philips' pioneering work in audio and recording. Listen to electronic music where it once originated in the Philips laboratories, hack a radio into a synthesizer with Baltan Laboratories, or dance along at our Clubnight with PIXL.
Join a tour with the Eindhoven Architecture Center and discover Natlab's rich history. Walk through spaces where groundbreaking research once took place, where Queen Wilhelmina transmitted the first shortwave radio messages to the Dutch East Indies, and where the precursor to the CD was developed.
Broet introduces you to makers and their stories and offers a glimpse into the creative world behind film. And in between, you can enjoy one of our new Uiltje beers at the outdoor bar.
On Sunday, there's plenty to do for young visitors. There's Cinemini for toddlers, creative workshops, and playful theater experiments. Together with Filmhub Zuid, we're creating space for curious makers, dreamers, and doers.
More ALLNATLAB programs will be announced in the coming weeks. Get ready for a weekend where film, music, theater, and history converge. Natlab will be vibrant like never before.
