Wisdom of Happiness is an intimate documentary featuring the 90-year-old Dalai Lama, who shares his vision on the major challenges of the 21st century and how we can deal with them. In the film, he addresses the viewer directly and talks about finding inner peace and universal happiness. Using poignant archive footage, he looks back on his childhood, upbringing, and flight from Tibet before the Chinese occupation. He invites you to take a deep breath, look inward, and become acquainted with the ancient idea of mindfulness for a better world.
The documentary was made by Barbara Miller and Philip Delaquis, and had its world premiere last year at the Zurich Film Festival. Richard Gere is one of the producers.
