Autumn 1943. When Rosa leaves behind the war-torn city of Berlin for the countryside where her in-laws live, she discovers that the war is still close at hand. The village where she stays turns out to be the location of Hitler’s headquarters, the Wolf’s Lair. Together with a group of other young women, she is forced to carry out a life-threatening task: every day, they must taste all of the Führer’s meals to ensure they have not been poisoned. Based on a true story.
