Director Sarah Miro Fischer captures the tension and complexity of human relationships, showing how family ties can lead to unexpected and difficult moral choices. Following her short film Spit (2021), Fischer made her feature debut with The Good Sister, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and later screened at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
