Leaving Las Vegas (30th Anniversary)

Mike Figgis
RELEASE Thu 25 Jun

The iconic film that earned Nicolas Cage an Academy Award and a nomination for Elisabeth Shue returns to the big screen to celebrate its 30th anniversary, now beautifully restored in stunning 4K quality.

Screenwriter Ben (Nicolas Cage) is an alcoholic with no future and no friends. After his wife leaves him and he is fired from the Hollywood studio where he worked, Ben heads to Las Vegas—the only city where the bars never close.

During his nightly wanderings, he meets Sera, a young sex worker carrying her own emotional scars. Lost and adrift in different ways, the two fall in love and form a fragile bond, finding comfort and connection amid their shared struggles and broken lives.
