Natlab | Film, Theater, Café, Restaurant

In search of inspiration for her new novel, writer Sylvie spies on her neighbors across the street and fills in their existence through her own imagination.

When the homeless Adam enters Sylvie's life, those stories unexpectedly begin to take on a life of their own. Soon, the line between fiction and reality blurs, until they are barely distinguishable from one another.

With the intriguing drama Histoires Parallèles, two-time Oscar winner Asghar Farhadi (A Separation, The Salesman) returns to Paris for his first French-language film since Le Passé. Histoires Parallèles premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. For the film, Farhadi drew inspiration from Kieślowski, particularly A Short Film About Love from Dekalog, in which a voyeur becomes obsessed with his neighbor across the street.
