In the afterlife, souls are given one week to decide where they will spend the rest of their “eternity.” Newcomer Joan is confronted with the impossible choice between her husband Larry, with whom she has spent her entire life, and her first love Luke, who died young in a war and has waited decades for her arrival.

A bittersweet battle between the two men to win Joan's heart (again) ensues, giving a heavenly new twist to the concept of the “love triangle.” Eternity is an imaginative, nostalgic, and romantic comedy that plays with the question: how and with whom would you want to spend the rest of your “life”?

The film was directed by David Freyne and premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. The lead roles are played by Marvel actress Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, Callum Turner, and Oscar winner Da'Vine Joy Randolph.
