31 juli 2027: In memory of Tim Curry, we present The Rocky Horror Picture Show at our Outdoor Cinema. This is not a film to watch quietly. Singing, shouting, screaming and dancing along are not only allowed, but very much encouraged.

On 31 July, our Outdoor Cinema pays tribute to Tim Curry with the role that made him unforgettable: the extravagant, seductive and utterly inimitable Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Newly engaged couple Brad and Janet are stranded when their car breaks down during a storm. Looking for a telephone, they arrive at an isolated castle and walk straight into a gathering unlike anything they have seen before. Their host, Frank-N-Furter, is about to unveil his latest creation: Rocky, his own idea of the perfect man.

When The Rocky Horror Picture Show was released in 1975, audiences initially stayed away. That changed during its midnight screenings. Fans arrived in costume, shouted back at the screen and brought props to use at specific moments in the film. A failed musical became a cult phenomenon that was never meant to be watched in silence.

So this will not be an evening for simply sitting back. Hold a newspaper above your head, snap your rubber glove, put on your party hat, send the toilet paper flying and, of course, do the Time Warp. An optional €4 prop kit contains everything you need along the way.

Tim Curry turned Frank-N-Furter into far more than a film character. Bold, funny, theatrical and completely himself, he became the beating heart of a film that showed generations of outsiders how liberating it can be not to fit neatly into any box.

One summer night for Tim Curry. Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous, warm up your voice and give yourself over to absolute pleasure.
