When school dropout Choo returns to her elite girls' school, she joins forces with three fellow outsiders to form a secret gang that challenges the rules of their tightly controlled world in Singapore.

Set in Singapore, 16-year-old school dropout Choo returns to her elite Chinese girls' school to complete her final exams. Her small acts of defiance against tyrannical teachers draw the attention of three fellow outsiders — Vanessa, Gina, and Sofia. When Choo confides in them about the ghost haunting her room, the girls decide to gather evidence using a camcorder. The four become inseparable and find an unexpected ally in Sofia's family chauffeur, Uncle Phoon (70). His stories about triad gangs in colonial Singapore inspire them to embark on a daring mission: to start a gang of their own. But how do you form a gang in modern Singapore, where even chewing gum is banned?
