    Locatie Natlab

On Monday, May 18 at 8:00 PM, we will continue the discussion at Natlab about the developments surrounding the station, with special attention to the results of the Regional Workshop Fellenoord.

Together with, among others, Hanna Lára Palsdottir (Ministry of VRO), José Meijboom and/or Erik Jacobs (Fellenoord2040 Development Company), and Hilde Blank (BVR Advisors), we will discuss how well-founded spatial decisions can be made through the use of design expertise and broad societal dialogue.

This workshop, initiated by the Ministry of VRO, provides a temporary, open space in which participants can step away from regular processes and experiment with alternative ways of observing, thinking, and collaborating. This intermediate space creates the conditions for collective learning and for mobilizing and further developing shared knowledge. Precisely because of this, unexpected connections, new choices, and alternative solution directions can emerge.

The first insights have been documented in the interim report: Workshop Fellenoord: In Search of Soft Values. On Monday, May 18, we will reflect on these insights and solution directions and engage in dialogue with the audience.

This public program is part of the Spatial Design Action Agenda, a joint program of the Ministries of OCW and BZK/VRO, which promotes the use of spatial design, and design-based research in particular, in addressing major, interconnected spatial challenges.

During this meeting, Dutch will be spoken.
