Discover the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) through the lens of film. This evening starts with an inspiring masterclass given by Erdinç Saçan, lecturer-researcher at Fntys ICT, about the world of generative AI, the risks and ethical dilemmas involved. After the masterclass we will screen The Beast by Bertrand Bonello, which takes us into a distant future where AI dominates the world.

The masterclass is Dutch spoken.

ERDINÇ SAÇAN

Erdinç Saçan works as a lecturer-researcher at Fontys ICT and often gives masterclasses and courses on the impact of AI through the Knowledge Center Applied AI for Society. He is the author of the book Inclusieve Artificial Intelligence and co-author of the recently published book Leven en Leren met AI.

MASTERCLASS

In an inspiring masterclass of approximately 45 minutes, Erdinç takes you into the world of generative AI. What is generative AI? What opportunities and possibilities do AI tools like ChatGPT offer? What are the risks and ethical dilemmas that AI confronts us with? Erdinç rapidly showcases examples of both positive and negative aspects of generative AI.
