The Royal Ballet | Woolf Works

Virginia Woolf
Mon 9 Feb and Sun 8 Mar

Virginia Woolf challenged literary conventions by portraying captivating inner worlds. These became her intense, unsettling, and deeply moving reality.

Resident choreographer Wayne McGregor, together with his brilliant artistic team, brings to life the stream of consciousness that defines Woolf’s distinctive writing style in this monumental work that rejects traditional narrative structures. Woolf Works is a collage of themes from Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, The Waves, and other works by Woolf. This Olivier Award-winning triptych, created in 2015 for The Royal Ballet, perfectly captures the unique artistic essence of Woolf.
