18-year-old Camilla is heading to the deep south of Puglia to study and has decided to live with her boyfriend Antonio. It’s more practical than commuting from Rome. For her family, and especially her father Carlo, this is a big step. They decide to turn the situation into a short summer holiday and travel as a five-person family to Puglia to meet Antonio’s parents and explore the region.
Antonio’s wealthy parents live in a traditional country estate and take great pride in their rural lifestyle and customs. But it doesn't take long before the arrival of the headstrong Roman family sparks a series of amusing events and cultural misunderstandings.
