Sarah is a martial arts fighter whose career is slipping away after losing a competition. She ends up teaching classes at the local gym, but then she’s approached by a Jordanian businessman offering her a temporary job to train his young sisters. She grabs the opportunity with both hands and finds herself immersed in the patriarchal world of the super-rich in Amman.
Every day, she’s driven from her luxurious hotel to a large, secluded palace where she must train three sisters. The young women never leave the house, except for outings with their bodyguard. They have no Wi-Fi, are homeschooled, and have little to occupy themselves besides makeup or watching soap operas.
By the time Sarah starts asking questions, a series of strange, small incidents she had been pondering escalate into something more tragic and she is drawn into their desperate quest for freedom.
