The screening is part of Baltan Laboratories current learning trajectory focused on seniors and people with distance from current technological developments. The aim of the program is to familiarize beginners to the topic with AI, internet scams, and basic computer awareness.
Techclub
The workshops are part of the TechClub project, developed by Baltan Laboratories and supported by the Province of North Brabant. In 2024, the focus was on exploring the role of contemporary technology in society. Thanks to the engagement of participants, valuable conversations and reflections emerged, motivating the continuation of TechClub.
In 2025, the program continues with a focus on accessibility. TechClub is aimed at people who often feel excluded from technological developments. Through lectures, hands-on activities, film screenings, and a monthly walk-in hour with the Tech Helper, TechClub aims to make technology more approachable and understandable.
The lectures will cover topics such as AI and algorithms, online love and friendship, and digital safety. Film screenings of Her, Ex Machina, and Thelma will take place at Natlab. The Tech Helper is also available in the Bla Bla Lab at Natlab. Visitors can join individual parts of the program or become active members of the TechClub.
