What happens when the loudest voice you hear is the one inside your own head? Loud Whispers is a powerful dance performance about the inner dialogue that shapes us—or breaks us. The voice that pushes us forward, but also the one that makes us doubt. A whisper that is sometimes soft, sometimes overwhelming—fueled by fear, expectations, and the tension between who we are and who we think we should be.

Choreographer Denden Karadeniz and Zero Dance Theatre translate this inner struggle into a powerful movement language where hip-hop and contemporary dance merge. Just like the choreography, the live music is a fusion of worlds: the Dareyn Ensemble, led by Emine Bostanci, weaves Eastern and Western sounds into a rich soundscape that mirrors the complexity of our inner voices. Two ensembles uniting traditions and styles in a shared journey inward.

Loud Whispers does not offer answers, it is an exploration of the voice within. An invitation to pause and listen to the whispers that shape us.

About Denden Karadeniz
Denden Karadeniz is a professional dancer, teacher, choreographer, and founder of Zero Dance Theatre: the Netherlands’ first hip-hop/contemporary fusion company, known for its standout floorwork technique. Denden has received numerous accolades, including the YAA Award 2022, the Victoriefonds Culture Prize 2024, and a nomination for the Dutch Dance Days Innovation Award Maastricht 2023.
