Shiftleader Horeca

Will you be our new Shiftleader Horeca?
At Natlab, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Shiftleader who leads our hospitality team with energy and a clear overview. Someone who loves to coordinate, take charge and pitch in. Together, we make every guest feel welcome – from the first coffee to the last drink.

What will you do?

  • You guide and motivate your team on the floor;
  • You divide tasks and keep an eye on the flow during your shift;
  • You ensure the workspace remains safe, clean and efficient;
  • You help us achieve our goals – from quality to revenue;
  • You open or close the building, handle the cash register, and place orders;
  • You’re the go-to person for colleagues from other departments;
  • And of course, you actively take part in the day-to-day operations.

Who are you?
You’re someone who naturally takes the lead but also knows how to listen. You’re hands-on, even when things get busy. You:

  • Have at least MBO-level working and thinking skills (vocational education);
  • Have experience in a leadership or similar role in hospitality;
  • Are a strong communicator and know how to motivate a team;
  • Stay calm under pressure and switch easily between tasks;
  • Are flexible and happy to work evenings and weekends;
  • Have a social hygiene and first aid certificate, or are willing to get them (at our expense).

What do we offer?

  • A contract of 24 to 36 hours per week;
  • Salary according to the Dutch Podia Collective Labour Agreement, scale 4 (€2,450 – €3,340 gross per month);
  • Extra pay for irregular hours, travel expenses from 10 km onwards, and a fair share in the tip pool;
  • Free access to all films and programs at Natlab;
