Because there is little direct evidence, the public prosecutor adds all sorts of things. Sandra would have been a bad husband, manipulative, aggressive, and a bad mother to boot. Director Justine Triet, who won the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival with Anatomy of a Fall, takes her time, adds nuance and brings you to the edge of your seat (and beyond your possible prejudices) with the music of 50 Cent.
