"This beautifully stylized and constrictive thriller by one of the best Belgian directors is to lick your fingers - until they bleed, even." - Nieuwsblad

Succesful writer Marcel moves into his family-in-law's enormous country house with his wife Jeanne and daughter Lucie. He fervently hopes that their new crib will help him to overcome the writer's block that has been tormenting him and hindered him in writing a worthy sequel to his bestselling novel Inexorable. Soon, distraction occurs in form of Gloria: a timid, slightly awkward young woman that has no home or family, who coincidentally connects very well with Lucie. Marcel and his wife welcome her warmly as nanny and she manages to quickly become part of the household. When Gloria confesses to Marcel that his books have helped her through some dark times in her life, he can hardly control himself and falls completely under the spell of the young lady, which leads to some inevitable events.
