Martin is actually a teetotaller, but is told by three of his colleagues during a drink that people actually need some alcohol in their blood. They convince him to breathe new life into his work and his nearly dead marriage by maintaining a deliberate and constant blood alcohol level. And they'll support and join him. The first results of their experiment are very positive: the burnt out teachers come back to life and even the results of their classes improve. But as it seems to become increasingly difficult to keep control over the situation and the number of glasses they drink, the experiment appears to have bigger consequences than they had expected.
