Ten years have passed since the Spanish Elena heard from her son Iván for the last time. She has tried to move on, but when she meets teenager Jean, who reminds her in everything of her own son, she is sucked back into the past.

The last time Elena spoke to her then six year old son was via telephone, when he called her completely confused, lost on a beach at the French coast, looking for his dad. Since then, Elena lives in that place. She runs a beach club and seems to have moved forward, looking at the future again. But when she meets the French Jean, who reminds her of her son in every move he makes, she loses her calmness. Their contact releases a lot of reactions in both of them and the people in their lives.

This psychological drama is an extenstion of the for an Oscar nominated short film Madre (2016) and was positively reviewed by the press at the Venice Film festival.
